I am actually asking myself about a new 3D system which was recently exposed in a show.. but I missed it. Does anybody tried the free glasses 3D display?? launched by Wazabee It's a display that you plug on your computer and which allows you to play games in 3 dimensions "wild 3D" without the small red n green glasses hehe... Does anyone can tell me something about it ??

I think within about ten years it could be practical.  It was already put to gimmicky use by CNN during the election coverage last night, but only in pre-recorded sequences.  They aren't yet able to manage a fast framerate with live projection, but that's only a matter of perhaps a few more years of development.  But I question when consumer demand will be sufficient.  Seems like it took about 20 years for the specifics of HD to be hammered out and to generate broad consumer interest.

Personally I dont see a market for it, ever. TV and movies are generally a social experience, I think the market will want larger, more affordable TV's that are easily viewed by groups of people. Then again there are a couple million lonely WoW players that may want a 3D display that only 1 person can see.
