Thankyou for supporting my previous point. Again, your argument is invalid. If you want to argue properly, you need to stop spouting fallacies of relevance. The premises may be true but they are irrelevant to the conclusion. Obama is not going to promote Jerimiah Wright to Secretary of Defense. None of his policies advocate extremism or terrorism. Obama is not going to pass laws that allow blacks to kill white people. What you mentioned has nothing to do with Obama's presidency. You seem to have trouble looking at this from an objective and rational standpoint. Setting up "straw man" arguments just shows everyone that you're misrepresenting and misunderstanding the facts.

As for affirmative action, I find it surprising you feel so threatened by giving aid to black people. You probably earn far more (and have more of a future going for you) than many other African Americans, yet you feel marginalised because they're getting aid? I really don't understand. Fact remains is that there are a ton of African Americans who are born into poverty and thus resort to crime. If giving them aid turns at least some away from a destructive existance, then it is well worth it.

But I don't actually think you'll listen to reason in this case. If you think responsible governing of free enterprise is socialism then you are indeed a lost cause.

Well Said.

Yes, too bad it's too late for Mikay D's mother.

Look I have aploigize to you and you still take shots at me.

Now can I call him a Ignorant White Boy? joking but he is a Ignorant Fool. Back to the blue button

I'll pretend to care, you ignorant foreign charity case fuck. And dont say well said, you cant create and articulate argument so dont try to jump on someone elses.

More than likely, if he does get shot, it will be from some moron who didn't have a plan whatsoever, rather than a guy who spent years devising a plan to kill him.

...I read somewhere(CNN.com I believe) that two white supremacists from Tennessee were already trying to come up with a plot to kill him, but were arrested before they could do anything. It also said they had a list of about 100 black Americans on a list.

Presidential assasins are usually morons though.  Anyone who is upset at bush is somewhat intelligent, or at the very least has a brain, therefor they will not attempt an assasination.  People who are racist have no brains and will try to go for it, I do think he is at higher risk than bush by far.

But then you have to look at the stock that actually have to plan said assasination. For Pete's sake, these men wanted to go on a killing spree of a hundred or more black people, and then they wanted to dress up in white suits, and drive at Obama, full tilt, shooting out the windows, hoping to hit him...

...Death of a President, this was not.

My co-workers and I were having a conversation about what would happen if president-elect Obama was assasinated. We pretty much agreed that things would get really bad, really fast.

Remember the aftermath of the Rodney King verdict?

If a president got assassinated it would quickly become an easy reason for the government to pass whatever they want, much like the patriot act.

What's your point?  Why do you speak as if though this even is relevant? It was just the media reporting non-news "news".

Why do people in other countries think we give 2 shits about who THEY want to be OUR president?

We apparently need a worldwide bully. The day after the election Russia moves missiles to their Polish border.

Because America's policies have far reaching consequences. As such it's only natural for people in other countries to be interested in the matter and express their opinions.

In many ways, it's not just YOUR president. America still is a superpower that can affect the entire world. As such, when something fucks up over there, it fucks everyone else too (like the economy). Having someone capable at the head of America is important to everyone.

Capable? So you guys want a guy with absolutely no political experience and really hasn't even stated any real plans for his presidency?

I actually happen to miss Bush already. The good old times with America being the bully to the rest of the world, not taking shit. Saying things like 'nukular' and fucking up common phrases. Whats not to like?

Barack has established "The Office of the President Elect", whatever the fuck that is.  Why does the president elect need his own office?  And why does it have the presidential seal on it?  Did he just decide that one on the fly?

Who really cares?

Time for some spoilers for Obama's presidency. Major conflict in Eastern Europe as the EU sits with their thumbs up their collective ass as Russia starts bullying smaller countries (Though they were right in the Georgia-Ossetia matter). Major conflict in the Middle East as Iran is not dealt with, most likely leading to Israel blowing the shit out of the entire thing with bunker-busters and pissing off everyone else in the Middle East.
