Fixed! (Hopefully). We're planning to "announce" BlurayDaily.com on Wednesday.

Yup working now heh.

Will hopefully be getting a PS3 and a decent telly next month (theres a Panasonic that I've seen that looks incredibly crisp).  So would love some suggestions for BD movies to check out in the meantime.

Adam, is this new site going to be HD trailer and video interviews and reviews central?  Plus are you considering merging it with Kikizo, so there'd be links to both games and BD sections/articles from one main page?  That would be cool.

If you want to be impressed with Blu-ray you have to back up your screen with a quality sound system.

As for Blu-ray recommendations, I suggest:

Planet Earth
The Dark Knight
The Last Samurai
Bad Santa  (not so much because the Blu-ray version is so great but just because the movie is hilarious)
The Departed
Black hawk Down
Kill Bill 1&2

I'm sure there are many others.

Pixar/Disney movies look really good, if you can be entertained by that sort of thing.

I liked Wall-E might get that.  Never seen Kill Bill 2 so that would be good too.

Oh think theres still a problem with the new forum section.  Trying to congratulate emo but not allowing my to reply to his thread...  :(

Its not the replying that didn't work its the posting of new messages, but it works now.

Seems to work now - earlier I would click post reply and it would just seem to refresh the page with my reply still sitting in the quick reply box.  S'all good now.

But my first question still stands...

Planet Earth is incredible.

I enjoyed Planet Earth too.  +1 for the Dark Knight.

Hellboy 2, Spiderman boxed set, X-Men films - I'm a comic geek.  Anything with big-budget special effects basically.

Forget I am Legend, it's terrible.  Other than that knock yourself out!

I'll be getting The Watchmen yet.  Not sure whether to import the US extended cut or just get the UK version.  Most discs are region free, but the film was long enough in the cinema...

It is surprising that I read it for the first time
