Maybe they just want to do something else inbetween the "regular" games that they are known for? Making games is after all a creative process and most creators like doing something different from time to time. Sometimes just as a test to see if it works out or because they get bored doing the same thing.

And you announce 3 games.

The first is a detective NDS game.

The second a PSP action-rpg were you kill guys and turn them into zombies in which they fight along you.

The third id a ps3 exclusive third person shooter,which has controls like gears of war.
