I might buy a Jasper when I find one but I'm in no rush. Technically my 360 still works but the stupid tray won't open at all anymore, lol fucking garbage.

I had to hit the top of mine in it's last couple weeks.

I felt like I was bitch-slapping an elderly person in hospice-care.

Anyway, I just got my first hands-on with a Jasper the other day. I'm not sure, but I think I'm in love. My only concern is that the video scaler will go kershitz, but I didn't get a chance to crack the case and get temperature readings, so there's no real telling.

At any rate, I've got a pile of 3 dead xboxes I'm heatgunning tomorrow, looking to fix E74 errors (the error that the RROD was hiding). Hopefully one of those will hold me over till I have the funds for something new.

You must all be abusing your 360's to have had so many - my launch one has failed once (repaired free of charge) and is still running fine - and we bought a second so we could both play.

Sure this OnLive service might be able to be good when the servers are not full, but surely once thousands (millions?) hit them they are going to fall over, and there's no way a broadband connection will be reasonably available to allow two gaming connections over the same wire.

How can you "abuse" a 360? We're not fucking toddlers. It's not like we're putting our mouths on the 360 and nibbling on the tray, or throwing it down a flight of stairs for shits and giggles.

I have to use the manual release to open my junkbox. Which is fine since there are no 360 games that I want to play anyways. The only two games I'm currently playing are Killzone 2 and EVE: Online. The only game I can see myself buying for the 360 is Fight Night Round 4, after that I'll be done with the 360. If the game holds up on the PS3 I'll just get it on that instead.

Sadly the best thing that would come out of this is not having to rely on shitty consoles, I don't even remember how many 360's I've had, was it 5 or 6? I don't know. Ironically the oldest ones are the ones that have lasted the longest, how can they still not get it right on year 4...
